31st march 1st Touch session

On the 31st of March we practiced touch on the field. On the day we had a reliever so we just went straight into a game of three teams playing touch. Touch is a sport close to rugby but instead of tackling you only have to touch the other player. The max number of touches are 5 after that it is hand over.

several factors influenced my participation. One thing that influenced me was the fact that I hadn't played a rugby ball based sport since intermediate which left me questioning my ability and leaving me not knowing how much I have forgotten or how much I knew. Another factor would be my teammates, I did not know their style of playing so it was hard to set up plays. This left us with the basic drills of running forward getting touched and passing the ball after wards

I would put my participation level at achieved level because I had brought the right gear to play in. I did not have the motivation to play though because I had not played touch in about 2-3 years. I did play in the sport properly though because, even though I had not played in a while I still did not want to give up easily and just lose. Another factor would be the heat. On the day it was very hot and we just had lunch before and I was playing Basketball the whole time so I had felt very dehydrated by the time we had to play touch.

If I was to improve my participation level I would try to get myself organised before the touch game like having a drink or stop playing basketball before the break finishes to recharge the batteries and have a rest
